Located above the town of Haslingden in Lancashire, the Rossendale and Hyndburn Model Aircraft Club (RHMAC) sits on an enviable site amongst open fields just behind one the areas most famous attractions ‘the halo’.
The flying field is positioned far away from any main roads, commercial or residential buildings, an ideal spot for everyone to take part in the hobby from total novices who have never flown through to experienced club flyers. .... more
Welcome to the RHMAC web site. Please take your time in browsing our site - feel free to join us at the flying field if you are interested in joining the club or if you would like a little more information about the hobby.
At RHMAC we fly both I.C and electric fixed wing planes including sport, aerobatic, 3D and scale warplanes. Being high on the hills above Haslingden the wind can often get up and so many of our members also fly gliders.
