For anyone who knows where the ‘Halo’ is ....

 

Follow the road round to the rear of the Halo and make your way up the small lane for about 75 feet (slowly because it’s rough!), at the top of the lane you will see some large boulders blocking further progress, immediately on your right you will see the flying club through the gate.

 

Please ensure the gate is closed behind you and everyone must adhere to the strict 10mph limit whilst in the field.

 

Park up by the wall on the right hand side down by the club hut.

 

Anyone who has a dog must keep it on a lead AT ALL TIMES

 

 

 

If travelling from the M65 ....

 

Exit the M65 at J8, at the roundabout exit when you see the signs for the A56. Travel for 4.5 miles until you arrive at the roundabout at Rising Bridge. Take the first exit and enter into Blackburn Rd. Travel about ¾ mile and turn left into Hud Rake, at the brow of the hill turn left (beware very sharp turn) into Higher Lane. Keep on up the hill for about a mile, at the top of the hill at the back of the ‘Halo’ ..... Then (follow directions above)

 

 

 

If travelling from Rawtenstall ....

 

Get on to Haslingden Old Rd (at the cross roads just after Asda on St Mary’s Way, travel for 2 miles and turn right into Market Street, almost immediately tun right again into Higher lane .... Then (follow directions above)
